I also chose to use the standard guidelines I found online regarding the weight I should choose. For me, this was 15 pounds due to the fact that I weigh over 100 pounds and under 150. I also purchased a blanket that would cover my entire bed, as I tend to toss and turn at night and didn’t want to worry about readjusting my blanket. Now we get to where I got into bed for the night. I had it sprawled across my bed, just as I would with my normal comforted. After I climbed into bed and covered myself (it is recommended you cover yourself from head to toe for the best benefits) I noticed a different immediately. It was much like receiving a hug. I felt a sense of being comforted and secure.
I also have to say that it definitely helped me to fall asleep much faster than I usually do. In fact, many nights it can take a half hour or longer, but it probably only took a few minutes the first night I tried it. Also, while I can’t say for certain as I didn’t record myself sleeping, I do feel it reduced the amount I tossed and turned through the night. I actually woke up in relatively the same space and position as I fell asleep.
